This Privacy Policy explains how Shivam Study Center ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and safeguards information when you use our mobile application (Shivam Study Center, package ID: in.shivamstudycenter.school).

1. Information We Collect

To provide academic administration and school communication services, we may collect the following information:

• Student & Parent Information: Student name, roll number, class/batch, parent or guardian name, phone number, and physical address.
• Academic & Attendance Records: Daily attendance records, exam marks, grades, report cards, and homework submissions.
• Fee & Financial Transactions: Fee billings, payment records, transaction dates, and payment receipt identifiers. We do not store credit/debit card numbers or bank account passwords on our servers.
• User Profile Photos & Homework Media: Profile avatar photos and study assignment photos uploaded by students or faculty.
• Device & Notification Data: Device push notification tokens (via Firebase Cloud Messaging) to deliver school notices, homework alerts, and attendance updates.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information strictly for educational and coaching operations, including:

• Tracking and reporting student attendance, streaks, and center holiday schedules.
• Publishing test results and generating downloadable student ID and report card PDFs.
• Managing homework, assignments, and digital study resources.
• Issuing fee payment receipts and sending payment reminders.
• Delivering urgent institutional announcements and official notices.

3. Device Permissions

The app requests the following optional permissions only when strictly necessary:

• Photos & Storage: Used solely to allow students and teachers to attach photos or PDF documents to assignments or profile pictures.
• Push Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): Used to deliver real-time notices, homework alerts, and attendance notifications.

4. Data Sharing & Security

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. All network communications between the mobile app and our servers are encrypted in transit using industry-standard TLS/HTTPS protocols. Access to student records is restricted strictly by user roles (Admin, Teacher, Student, Parent).

5. Data Retention & Account Deletion

We retain student and academic records for the duration of the student's enrollment at Shivam Study Center. Parents, students, or staff members may request review, correction, or permanent deletion of their account and associated personal data at any time by contacting the center administration.

6. Children's Privacy

The application is designed for school students and their parents. Accounts are provisioned and managed directly by the coaching center administration with parental consent. We do not collect personal data from children without administrative or parental involvement.
